        Nothing wrong with a chipped ECU and an AFC to fine tune it, seen alot of really well set up cars with that combination and its cheap. Using the AFC on a stock ECU is retarded though, making that large of a change. With the chip the changes are pretty minor and very effective. BUT, DSMLink FTW

                Dont bother going with AEM. Just use DSMlink with a socketed ecu. Its a beautiful thing...and less than half the price of AEM.

                  How much power are you looking to make? That's the question you have to ask. AEM has no limits. DSMLink is still limited by a MAF of some sorts, unless that has changed? To me going to a MAP sensor was priceless. Well worth the extra money of an AEM.

                      I would look into MAP-ECU and see if anyone has had any success with one of those on a DSM. They are/were limited to like 32psi, but not many people run that much boost(that only want a piggyback, anyway). The Supra guys have had decent success with them, but the word on the street is that the older ones were kind of a PITA to tune.

                      At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!
