any hookah smokers on here?

i smoked hookah for the first time tonight, my friend got a very smooth and mild strawberry & cream for us for my first time from the hookah bar we went to. up until a week ago i did not know it was flavored tobacco, i thought it was some sort of weed or something dumb like that.

anyone ever done it, i thought it was sorta neat, im not a smoker, is it safer that cigs, does it have all the toxic chemicals and tar like cigs do?

hookah is the device that you smoked out of, shisha is the 'tobacco' you smoked.

Cherry + a tish of mint is my favorite. If you get one just don't be like everyone that owns a hookah and NEVER clean it...gets fucking nasty as hell.

I've had several hooka's... I dont know... I don't really like it, it makes my lungs feel all funny... I think its cuase I'm used to feeling the burn and with hookas you just keep hitting it harder cuase theres no burning feeling?

the only reason that i want to make one is to....well just to make one. yeah i could easily go and buy one, but i thought if i could make one they way we want it, then we wouldnt have to settle for whatever is in the store.

i am not a smoker so i cant relate to the burning feeling that jim is talking about.

the ones at the hookah bar were made to cheap, they had what looked like wire loom that did separate for hoses and it was all plastic except for the bowl

Very good, we used to do it a couple times a week, but havent much lately... There's a lot of good flavors, grape was prob the best...
