I decided against the car show in Jamestown since my old man offered me a ticket to come with him to Arizona to do a few things around our house down there to get it ready for some renters. I will have a bit of free time so I decided to buy tickets to this...

While most of the nation is buried in the snows of winter, the stars of the NHRA are headed for sunny Arizona and Firebird International Raceway for 2009 first pre-season testing. Described as the autograph seekers dream, this event allows fans to enjoy the NHRA drivers and teams in a relaxed and fan friendly atmosphere. Make no mistake, there will be some intense moments, record breaking passes, as well as some awesome photo opportunities as each team tries to get dialed in for the up-coming season. Early entries include, Tony Pedregon, Cruz Pedregon, John Force, Del Worsham, Tony Schumacher, Brandon Bernstein, Hillary Will & more.
I've never been to big event like this, so I have no Idea what to expect.

watch out for your eyes if you get to close....a bunch of us went to BIR last year and my eye got all screwed up and last tuesday i found out now i got to have surgery lol whata grip!

not sure if the nitro is directly related to this problem but I noticed the problem with my eye right after we got up close to a few pit warm ups.

I got a picture with Courtney force too, shes way hotter in person than on her website. John was either in his car or in the trailer the entire day so we didn't get a chance to talk to him. Later yesterday evening we saw a Ferrari Dealership in Scottsdale, so we stopped in and took a few pics of their trade ins,(shitty camera/lighting, sorry bout the pics) all the new cars were inside, behind tinted glass. Also saw the main Barrett Jackson dealership, but didnt get a chance to take a picture.

Scott, You were right, I breathed in just a little bit of that Nitro Methane when they started up a car in the pits, Holy shit that stuff would drop someone ina few seconds. I figured there was something weird going on when all the mechanics put respirators on...

Those were my second favorite, right behind the 430 spyder. I didn't even know they made 430 verts.. Car was definitly sick in person.
