How much are you looking to spend on an amp? I have a 1200.1 that I could let go of if I get the right price.

How much are you looking to spend on the touchscreen? I have something for virtually any budget that is based in reality.

And no, you don't need a 2 farad cap.

Nobody has ever needed a capacitor for their stereo system in their car (aside from crossovers for their speakers).

                  EVER.

                  Not once.

No, you don't need a 2 farad capacitor, all that will do is add additional ESR on your charging system. You need to upgrade your ground wires at the battery/engine to ~ 4 gauge (depending on size amp you are running...maybe 1/0 gauge if the amp is over 1000 watts RMS). Then you also need to upgrade the power cable from alternator to battery. This will do infinitely more good than any capacitor ever would.

As for the "not too much" what does that mean? Under $1000? Under $500? Under $300? Under $200?

On the low end, I have this http://www.dualav.com/mobilevideo/xdvd700.php for $275 w/ full factory warranty and on the high end I have http://www.eclipse-web.com/us/avn/avn7000overviews.html for $1,600 (while supplies last)

I also have a LARGE assortment of subs/amps available with full factory warranty....again, give me a ball park of what you want to spend and i'll try and come up with a few options for you.

Better run some big ass cable back there (double the size you were running for just audio back...you'll need to power your whole car from back there then...seriously, don't do this unless you are willing to spend some money on wire....not to mention upgrading grounds is a LOT harder and will likely introduce some ground loop issues (engine noise through speakers)

Keep your battery up front (or add a second in rear) and you will be fine...just don't skimp on wire sizes.
