Bison

Dont know if it was shitty compared to whatever Oakland threw up went in, plus their height gave the Bison fits.
Either way, Woodside is the man, and I hope to god they send the Bison to Minneapolis, thatd be a homegame.

They played shitty for 95% of that game, im glad they won, but they should be very glad, as they didn't play well enough to win most of that game. Great clutch shot at the end.I don't if i would say they played shitty for 95% of the game. When a team like Oakland is shooting 62.5% from the field at half time, i would consider that them playing above their ability, opposed to SU playing below theirs. Keep in mind that SU still shot over 50% from the field, which i wouldn't consider shitty. I'd say it was a pretty evenly matched game with a great ending!

This is the greatest day of my life. Heath, the Bison played great when it counted. Oakland completely crumbled when the pressure was on. The Bison and the 4 fifth year senior leaders didn't crumble and that's exactly why we won. That and Michael Tveidt having the game of his life when Woodside and Winkleman were so off in the first half.
Kirk, is Bisonville down for you too? I think the site got overloaded as it won't load for me at all.
Edit-I bought 10th row tickets and I didn't get to use them because the guys I was going with didn't want to miss work today (work was cancelled for all of them) and my wife wanted me home for our first doctor appt of her pregnancy tomorrow morning at 8:00am (which was cancelled). F me. I'll regret this for the rest of my life.

i was hoping the birth of your son would have been the greatest day of your life Jason... I guess what i meant is that they weren't playing like they usually do, but i was very impressed with their cool the whole game. Tveidt played awsome the whole game, Winkelman couldn't have fumbled the ball more though.

Its been down since the 2nd half.
-
who are they playing in the 1st round?
-
what are the choices>?

what are the choices>?Depends on what seed the Bison get, and what seed other teams get lol. Basically any team that could be a 2-4 seed I'd bet. Their RPI is 99th overall, so they probably won't get much love in that department.
-
what does RPI mean? I thought only 64 teams make the tourney
-
Yeah only 64 teams. RPI is bascially your strength of schedule as determined by a computer(aka formula of wins and losses, weighted by strength of schedule, opponents RPI). They only played 3 teams within the top 100 RPI this year, and lost all 3. If they had a win at Wisconsin or Marquette, like in previous years, they might have gotten a better seed.
-
plus the conference is shitty.
I bet theyre a 14 seed so theyll play a 3 seed...which this team can possibly beat, they proved it vs Wisconsin and Marquette

I'm going to disagree with this. When we played good teams, and even some bad teams on the road, there were many games where we were behind in the second half and pulled out the win in the end...UMKC on the road, SDSU on the road, Oakland in Fargo, Oral Roberts on the road, and Centenary in the tourney were all games they the Bison trailed deep into the second half and came back at the end to win just like we did last night. It's not like we regularly blew out good teams and Oakland was definately a really good team. -

crazy game... First year they are elgible and they get in.Yeah it is pretty crazy being the first team since 1970 to make it to the big dance their first year of eligibility... also today i guess they were matching the bison up with washington i believe... i hope the game is in the cities and so then many fans and alumni will be there for support but even if it is in portland or miami people will still go but like previously said playing in the cities wilol be like playing a home game... look at when ndsu and u of m played at the metrodome... tons and tons and tons of fans from fargo came to see them play... it was an amazing atmosphere and i think that playin in the cities would be something similar but not to the extent of football games... i hope they do well an make it past 1st round that would be huge... GO BISON!!!!!!

Gonna go out and say ndsu doesn't get a minneapolis bid. They're hosting seed lower and higher than what joe lunardi is saying.
