I'm telling ya...fargo doesn't need to build a super tall dike, it just needs to be taller than the moorhead side of the river...mother nature will take care of the rest
AND YES, I'M KIDDING! I'm hoping both sides have adequate protection.

I think fargo Should be worried about Catching up to Moorhead, before they can go higher. We're at 42 plus from 50th Ave S. to I 94. Plus, Fargo is considerably lower from the get go. -
Heard on the radio that all of south moorhead was done this afternoon. hell seems like all of moorhead is pretty solidfied outside of making sandbags now.
didn't seem as chaotic as it was yesterday up north in the country club and down south by alm park/rivershore drive

my neighbor just walked down to the sheyenne diversion just north of 12th ave. He said that the diversion is full and all the standing water in our ditches is now at sheyenne height. The people that have been living here for years (some 30+ years) all figure that the river will break out and fill our little development within the next 24 hrs. We all parked on the highway tonight.
Within 24-36 hrs I'll be fishing from my deck on darkelvis island.
