guess they decided not to raise the bags another foot down south here. just gonna re-enforce the weak / low spots and have the guard partroling the dikes 24/7. so if it does get to 43 were basically ****ed thats if the sandbags hold till then. just picked up 2 pumps. our neighbor has 6 for some reason.

I just got to work and (go figure) it was dead so they told me to come back later. Fuck that. I'm going to call Ed Schultz and have him bitch out our DM for keeping us open. Dude's been on a warpath with any businesses that are staying open after both the governor and the mayor said that any non-essential businesses should be closed.

Just a bit of info for those in Moorhead. KFGO just had a conversation that says Minnesota law DOES NOT allow for mandatory evacuations. I don't know (nor did they) if they will use the word MANDATORY or not, but keep in mind, that if they say get out, you might not hear the M word, but should STILL get out....
Best of luck to those on the other side of the river. Be smart and safe!

Moorhead Public Schools will close schools all next week. Fargo Public Schools expects to cancel school all next week, too, and other area school districts speculate they'll follow suit.
