Maybe i missed it, I didn't see where he said we owe it all to the guard/military, but i am inclined to say we would be fucked without them, and on the other hand, if it weren't for the HUGE citizen effort we would definitely be fucked. I just see no need to piss on all of the guards even if he stated they were 100 percent 'saviors' I would just say Thanks to all that helped, couldn't have done it without any of them. As for the guards on traffic duty, it would have been much harder to do it without them doing traffic control either with all the fucking gawkers getting in the way of things on uni and main, i myself went out and took tons of pictures when i had time to do so, however i made it a point to take out of the way routes to get there so i wouldn't be in the way.

not saying that the college students did everything, but by cancelling classes, alot of us were out there and this takes away like 5000 possible volunteers

RIVER LEVELS ARE STILL EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOW 41.0 FEET. DURING THE PAST FEW HOURS THE RIVER HAS SHOWN VERY MINOR FLUCTUATIONS... BASICALLY REMAINING STEADY.
