No Rain, Me No Care -

No Rain, Me No CareJoel you're getting way too confident, they are talking heavy winds with this storm too. Normally the Red isn't really affected by winds, when it is how many feet wide inside the trees, not much. The Red is currently how wide right now with not much protection in areas? Throw some 30+ mph winds on that what do you think is going to happen.
Post below directed to the Guard haters
Idk, maybe you're just glad your place is safe. That is the way it seems. I am more concerned about everybody at this point. I'll admit my first priorities were my families and friends. But I guarantee if anybody needed anything I'll be the first one there. The Guard is here for a reason. They have not been needed at this point "yet", the are on stand-by right now. Are they just suppose to sitting in their temporary quarters and playing the waiting game? No. they are being utilized the best they can right now. If the time comes where they are used for what they are here for I guarantee the average citizen of Fargo won't be around doing what the Guard will be doing. The locals will be crying and running like little babies trying to get the hell out. I bet the guard won't be running, well they will be, but in the opposite direction of the people fleeing....................

I am to the point where I could really give 2 shits less about the rest of the city. When the city runs a dike through your front yard and tells you sorry, we're writing you off, You tend to get a little relentless. I apologize for the way I come off, But I AM ON THE RIVERFRONT, so I think I know what I'm talking about. -

When Did I say that? I never said the dike wasn't a good idea but My Dike is holding a lot better than some of the sandbag dikes that have no contingency dikes behind them. Its just depressing, thats all. Nothing wrong with the city officials trying to protect the rest of the people. -
