Or you could not listen to Will, bring them here and get charged exactly what the bill would be, if you brought them to the coater yourself. We provide a store front for coating. Something our coating guy cannot do. You see Will, for wheels it works out nicely. You bring your wheels here and it is a one stop. We take off your Tires. We then will transport the wheels for coating. Then when they are done we will put the tires back on the wheels and you will not have to worry about your new shiny finish getting scratched. We charge the same price as the coater does, so this is really down to a question of convenience not cost....... Really Will? Please stop!

Well shit, if they charge the same price as the coaters would charge you then do it. I just assumed you added a little more to it, for the trouble. And obviously a local car enthusiast would naturally want the best deal and seeming as how there is a coating company here in town, go directly. But like I said, if its the same price and you are going to remove the tires, coat it, then put them back on...good deal.

Please stop? Stop what? Trying to find him a good deal?

There are a few variables. What size? what finish are they now? paint/PC/Chrome? is there any damage that you want repaired? What color do you want them coated? Single color, 2-tone? outer stripe? It is much easier to stop in with them.

All we can do is give a pretty close quote, based on what we have done in the past. Prices are going to vary on the above.

Whatever we get invoiced is what you will pay. We don't mark up something that we hand over to someone else to have done. We are happy to offer the service.

Same rule applies to engine work, painting, rotor/flywheel turning, etc.. If we are doing a head gasket and you need machine work done. We will remove the head and take it to the machine shop. Then when we get the bill from them, that's what you pay.

I would recommend Dan at Elite Powdercoating here in Fargo. He did the wheels on my bike, along with some other small stuff and it turned out absolutely perfect. He is VERY VERY good at it and you won't be disappointed. PM me if you want his phone number.

I figured that actually. I don't want to take anything away from you guys though. Getting tires dismounted and re-mounted with a badass machine that doesn't scratch wheels is a huge plus. Dan is awesome though, obviously you guys know that too.

say how much does it cost to get 4 wheels powdercoated in general? Doesnt have to be exact I just want to know a general number, and I can get them prepped myself.

I'd guess anywhere from $1 - $1000, there is the ballpark.
