Cruise to the Twin Cities June 6-7th

With the overwhelming support for cruising in the area, and everyone seeing the same thing night after night, we are looking to organize a cruise to the Twin Cities. We would more than likely meet at the Fargo Tintmasters lot on a Saturday (noonish), and cruise to Minneapolis. While in Minneapolis, cruise through Uptown, Dinkytown, Lake Calhoun, and end on University to cruise with the Minneapolis crowd after dark.
Sunday, we would eat (somewhere in outskirts of Minneapolis), then have some REAL fun. Route home will be some of the best roads Minnesota has to offer. The return route is as follows:
I94 (Minneapolis) to St Cloud
St Cloud North on Hwy 10 to Wadena
At Wadena go north on Highway 71 to Highway 113
Highway 113 west to I29 (Gardner)
I29 South to FargoHere is a map:
This return trip will take about 6 hours of driving (300 miles), and we would stop somewhere in the middle for a snack, returning to Fargo around 7-8pm on Sunday.
<u>Total investment for this cruise would be:</u>
~3 tanks of gas (For most of us) = ~$120 per car (more to a car, split gas)
1 Hotel Stay in Minneapolis (Get 4 to a room, making it cheap) = $40 ea (with 4 to a room)
1 Lunch (Saturday) = $15 ea
1 Dinner (Saturday) = $15 eaTotal 'necessity' expenses = ~$190 (less with more to a car)

I would definately be interested if I am back by then, but probably not. I would suggest hitting up the Original pancake house, it is right off 494 near the 94 split, and has great breakfast. Have some ppl go early to get a pager though.

You know I just might have to go, I'd rather ride with someone who has a fun car, than try to keep up with the grocery getter. I'm getting a new job soon and should have weekends off.

We have received enough interest to make this a go. Consider this the 'thumbs up' on the idea.
Meet at Tintmasters parking lot on June 6th at 11:30am. We will be leaving at NOON sharp. Check your tire pressure, retorque your lug nuts, and fill up with premium this will be a great weekend. If it is raining in Fargo, still meet at the shop at 11:30am on Saturday (again June 6th) and I will check info on Minneapolis/mid Minnesota for their forecast, and we all can make the decision to go or not.
