Advertising does wonders. The new commercials try to make people feel guilty for buying an import, like it'll make them a bad person or something if they do. There also making MPG a huge sell point now on newer american cars which has really become a big deal in past 5-10 years, imports have had just as high or higher MPG ratings for decades. But one thing there not mentioning to people is reliability. I say let's take the number of Fords vs. Toyota's sold and compare those same numbers to how many of that group are actually still on the road in 10 years.

Actually in recent years ford is one of the best in reliability.

Being a Chevy guy this should mean a bit, I have damn near went sideways on bumpy gravel roads, something I never worried about when it bought my Suburban. I have taken the same roads on newer Chevy pickups and they are barely better. Drove a F-150 just a couple weeks ago and it handling like a dream compared to the Chevrolets. So for guys that think that test is something they wouldn't encouter, apply if you drive on gravel roads or any roads in Fargo Moorhead during pot hole season. If you only drive on decent city and highway streets the Tundra and Titan are quite comfy too. Don't even get me started on dodge.

I'll keep my money, guns and freedom. You keep the change.

                  Danny: What about Fargostreet?
                  Hallorann: Fargostreet?
Danny: You're scared of Fargostreet, ain't ya?
                  Hallorann: No, I ain't.
Danny: Mr. Hallorann. What's in Fargostreet?
Hallorann: Nothin'! There ain't nothin' in Fargostreet. But you ain't got no business goin' in there anyway. So stay out! You understand? Stay out!
