From my understanding that Mustang was legal to 10.00It was a bolt in cage and the door bars were more or less non existant. Looked as if the tubing was undersized as well. he ran an 11.2 got a warning ran another 11.2 and got the boot.
I would imagine that yes tech will be the same for all events as the new owner is on point about everything being up to spec. Rules are rules and i dont see why a different event is going to change that unless they bring in their own insurance and play the risk.

sould like the tech at MIR.
The only person i have accually seen look under the carpet to see if the cage was welded or not.

O damn! Links to the current rule book? Need to figure out what I need or the 240 now... Figure take care of some of the stuff sooner then later.
Funny thing is, I have been on the BIR road course and they don't even do tech for the events I have been there for.

These rules have been the same for years they just never enforced them and kinda looked the other way.
11.49 and under requires 8 point roll bar.
9.99 or 135mph (whichever comes first) requires 10 point roll cage.
Harness is mandatory w/ a roll bar/cage, fire jacket required @ 11.49. Helm,et has always been required but they are checking that it meets SNELL requirments.

What about driveshaft loops on RWD cars, all those other little things?
