D Series swap into 94-98 Integra
-
Looked all over online(team integra, honda-tech, google, etc) and can't seem to find a write up for d series swap into an integra. Anyone have the info? I know bryce was thinking about doing this to his teg.
-
heres a step by step.
-
get d series engine, mounts ect.
-
put engine in integra
-
extend or shorten wires as needed.
-
adapt engine if there is obd change(ie: obd2-obd1 )
-
install d series axle's.
pretty simple to me.
-

It would be about as hard as putting a D into an EG (i think I have heard of this being done once before) since they are nearly the same.....

Come stock in japan. these bitches are all wheel drive too.

Should be a pretty straight forward shwap. Seems like a waste of time. Meh.

The car is on stock suspension, and the front rides HIGH AS HELL since the motor weighs a lot less.
I can't discuss it anymore until the owner reveals it. It will be posted on Honda-Tech, after completion.

I doubt that <100 lbs makes his front a lot higher. Ds and Bs are within 100 lbs N/A, now add a turbo kit on the D and it will be very close in weight to the B.

No bullshit, from the outside, you would think that there's no engine in there. Keep in mind, this is STOCK suspension right now.

And as promised, pics and a brief description build thread:

Starting off, 94 GS-R:
End result......
On it's first track outing, ran a 12.8@108mph, running pig rich on Q16. SRP pistons, Eagle Rods, Y8 head, Garrett 60 trim turbo, Stage 5 Competition Clutch, stock tranny and axles, 22" slicks. Jimmy feels comfortable saying that it's got low 12's in it the way it sits. Still has 100% of the interior.
Video vs. GO Autoworks D16 turbo EF, air temp was over 100F, unsure on track surface temp.
