I guess it was when you said that the races were still going on just that TM wasn't cool enough to sponsor them (paraphrasing a bit, I know) even though we all told you that even though the races are still on, they are not the same format/price/whatever and THEN you got defensive saying we didn't know what we were talking about (we did)...at that point I told you to shut the fuck up and the proverbial bucket of poop was thrown into the fan...

I dont agree with what they did to TM. Changing up the rules AFTER they had their flyers made for the streetlegals and P10 was low. Now TM has all those flyers that are misleading floating around. I for one will not go the track to pay MORE money for LESS seat time. +1 for more saftey though.

I really don't want to start a 'poop/fan' scenario, but I wanted to comment on this (not directed at anyone in particular, while Ethan was directed towards Will).
If you openly hate or try to effect our business, please have the common sense NOT to show up at ANY of our events. It takes a lot of self control not to be a prick and make someone leave when they come to the P10 show, previous track days, show and shines, cruises. Shane and I both agree that from this point forth, we ARE going to be 'those guys' and boot you from the event or property. I don't see why anyone that talks smack about us, or constantly tries to take business away from us would want to be affiliated by anything we organize? :drunken_smilie:
You don't have to like our shop, or us. Competition is a healthy part of business and life, but there are lines and those lines are commonly crossed by a few on here. Being civil is easy, and keeps everyone welcome at our events.

because all i see is cars with fart cans(i'm taking the downward pointing muffler man speicial, not a apexi N1, etc.) and tint with a huge banner, racing around town "reppin" you guys hard. and thats cool, but when someone asks where i should buy X part, we shouldn't say you suck and just get tint there?

Really? I'm not sticking up for tintmasters in any way here i'm speaking for myself and using common sense... I guess i never refered to tintmasters as a "performance" shop, more of a all around automotive shop for aftermarket car/truck parts.... isn't it "TINTMASTERS MOTORSPORTS"????
And i've seen alot of cars come out of tintmasters shop with wheel/tire combos... If you go into their section of FS, you'll see that jason posts up alot of pictures.. the RX8 w/ the volks, the Vette, the mercedes, the tundra, ect, i'm sure those are only SOME of the wheel/tire combo's they do, plus they are called "TINTmasters" for a reason... or am i wrong here?
It's funny that you are hating on them just because they dont make their own performance products and only do bolt on stuff.
So would they still be "uncool" if someone went in there asked for a Full-Race twinscroll turbo kit for whatever car, they ordred it for them, installed it, tuned the car, etc.... just because it isnt their own part?
Do i have to be the first to state that it sounds like a jealousy issue is all?

It has nothing to do with theme not making there own shit, it is just funny that they do all this sponsoring of racing but don't cater* to those at all. (as it looks based ont he crowd that is accoiciated with them).

I don't really get the hate directed towards them as well? It's their business, they can do whatever the fuck they want to do; its obvious they have a loyal customer base, and you have to admit they do give back by putting on events and shows and stuff.
Just because they don't cater exclusively to who YOU think they shoudln't doesn't mean they are wrong...

You do realize that when they sponsor racing the price goes down right? making it cheaper for YOU race.
Go to the races at the red river valley speedway once and see how many cars are sponsored by BARS, do BARS have anything to do with racing? NOPE.
