Probezilla Testing

It was a beautiful weekend for some testing. The weather was a little warm, but I loved it. I was able to get a few passes on Saturday. The first two passes were duds...both were caused by myself. The 3rd pass was more exciting. I launched with 11psi, had a weak 1.34 60ft and with 31 lbs of boost ran a 8.80@161mph. The 4th pass we turned boost up to 33-34 and launching with 24psi cut a 1.25 60ft with a et of 8.57@165mph. We went out today and were going to turn the wick up some more, but driving up to the staging lanes the Borg Warner S480 blew the exhaust seal...spewing oil out the exhaust. I only had 10 passes on that turbo. Time for a change I think. I gotta try and get a center section by this weekend. We were going to go to TVR and race with the Midwest Wild Bunch. If anyone knows where I can get a center section or a turbo cheap let me know. Dave might get the video uploaded.

We'll, I got another S480 on the way and a rebuild kit for the one I got. It should be here Thursday. We just picked up Dave's car from Laske tonight, so we gotta get that ready as well. Our plan is to head down to Watertown Friday and dyno at Andy's and then head to Marion after that. So if the planets align and all goes well, YES we will be rocking Thunder Valley!
