well of course...I like it when people keep it in the family tho....

GTO swap was a smart decision. If i remember right, the dude picked up both vehicles with the intentions of doing that. Cheap fix i guess kinda.

Ya I'm happy the MS3 is coming out. It can only mean more engine parts for me. CPE is working on a new turbo, the stock one is way undersized. It starts pulling boost at 4500 rpm down to 5 psi at redline. at least it doesn't have a hood scoop like the legacy. The top mount suxs too, but I want a downpipe but don't want to void the warranty. An extra 30whp would be nice.:icon_thumright:http://www.fargostreet.com/forums/showpost.php?p=127054&postcount=11

Yes, the clutch is HORRIBLE!!! But it actually gets better with time. I only stall it like once every 2 weeks. I perferred the all black interior, the white and black is kinda ricey I think.http://www.fargostreet.com/forums/showpost.php?p=127067&postcount=15

After that you can replace my crappy rx8 based rear diff and get me clutch that works! And get rid of the 3rd gear studder (didn't have it a the track tho), caused by the reflash that neutered my car, worst decision on my part I was told I'd get top end. We won't get started on my car loosing 80 whp from 5500 to 6700 rpm! If Mazda didn't have the throttle body closing at 5000 rpm this car would have been over 300hp factory. 4 psi at redline is a joke!Have you guys done any TSB's on the 2006 clutches?

Mazda won't own up to it yet. But I'm like the 100th person on mazda6club.com this has happened to, some people have even broken the housing around the bolts. It's under warranty and I'm mostly stock so it shouldn't be a problem. I'll find out this morning. You didn't think this thread was done yet right?

What's your point? The TSB clutch has been in for 2 years do you want an update? The Rear diff never broke again (already covered in this thread btw). The low top end boost issue is resolved...
You want me to visit legacy forums and pull up every issue they've had?

There isn't too many MS6's or LGT's on the boards, so it's a new arguement and more intriguing than the usual Ford vs. Chevy, Import vs. Domestic and Fwd vs. Rwd vs. Awd we normally see. Yes, visit Legacy forums and post back here.

Never raced one at the track, so I can say I have never been beat by one.Well, I've never raced a legacy gt either, from what I've read and the specs the cars are very close, and it's a driver's race... At least you're being honest tho...

http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18887I could dig up more, but it wouldn't prove anything, all kinds of cars have issues. I said early on that they are both very good cars, and I still stand by that.
It's amazing how you pulled up my old posts but didn't pull up one of my first threads where I posted pics of the car, and fargostreet members only posted positive comments...
