The reason I don't have a problem calling the "ganster" blacks a nigger, is for 1 reason. If they can call themselves niggers, it must not be all the bad eh? Oh, and another reason I don't mind calling a black a nigger, is because it is by far the easiest way to get under a black's skin.
Hell, I work out with a black guy every morning, 5am - 6:30am, and boy do we have some great conversations. I have several other black friends.
The blacks I have no problem calling out are the low life bitches who think its cool to "pack a 9" and sell drugs or the ones who just like to cause drama. If they want to cause drama, they better be able to take shit in return.
Oh, and that definition of the word "nigger" is from when? When slavery was a big thing? Times have changed and the definition has evolved. Did you ever hear of blacks calling other blacks niggers back then? Probably not, at least not that often. Nowadays... every "gangster" is like "hey nigga", "you fuckin nigger", etc.
Oh and Chuck, I have no problem calling out a mexican, indian, another white, etc. There are the "cool" ones, and their are the "low life" ones.

That's great and all. Coming from living in the less than pretty side of San Diego, I can tell you I knew a lot of people who would find that offensive, and wouldn't myself be caught dead using the N word around my old neighborhood. If you believe its an offensive word to black people, you're a fucking idiot. The end.
However, I think Kanye is sort of a dipshit anyway. His stealing of the spotlight for no reason is ridiculous. Its too bad you can't fire him from his job, or vote him out of office. Stupid rap stars..

And look at the numbers of drug dealers along racial lines (out of prison). Blacks (and other minorities) predominantly spend more time in jail than their white counterparts for the same type of crimes (statistically speaking....can't say what the specifics of the crime were).
According to most reports, people tend to buy drug from same race drug dealers and something like 3/4 of the drug users in the country are white (don't have time to cite a source, so someone feel free to correct me)
