wow. If people keep figuring out how to get this good at things, at some point, someone is going to do a crouching-tiger tree-fight video and its going to be legit.
on a side note, I wish youtube videos didn't always have over-dubs of lame songs. This dude is awesome, why mess that up with a bunch of nancies? i hit "mute" after a few seconds, and unmuted it occasionally to see if the lame had stopped. It never did

fuckin plywood pushers, its way harder to bunny hop that high up and then to ride across a fence, or 180 backflip off tree on a bike.PPPFFF...yeah, you totally know what you're talking about. Please note sarcasm.

Nollie big heel doesn't look that hard. Ass. I could bunny hop the first day i had my dyno compe. Fast forward to my first legit skateboard, couldn't do shit. That video was sick though.

That video was sick though.First day ever on a skateboard and I could ollie and do some basic grinds. I still can't ride a direct drive rear hub (no free wheel, if bike is moving pedals are too) bicycle backwards for more than a few feet. I'm by no means a "pro" at either of them, but I was fortunate enough to have a 10' tall by 16' wide 1/2 pipe in my yard growing up (kinda a ghetto one, made it out of scrap lumber at the farm).
Not taking away from either persons skills in the vids posted, both are amazing to say the least, but in spite of all the fast footwork needed for skating, the danger is worse on a bike because of the moving parts, handle bars, etc... You can pretty much ditch your board on an aborted aerial maneuver, not quite as easy with a bike.

When I was a skateboarder just like with Chuck, we were probably 75-100lbs lighter. I could see some broken bones, plywood and even concrete if Chuck took ya up on that.

We could go to the skatepark and you could forever shut me up if this is the case. The Ollie came somewhat natural to me, not saying I could do it very high at first (probably couldn't have gotten over a can of pop laying on side at first), but I could do it. As for basic grinds, again, I'm not talking about grinding the lip of a 1/2 pipe here, I'm talking about some basic axle grinds on curbs/steps and not for a very good distance....but grinds none the less. I never got "good" at skateboarding in my own mind...again, lived on a farm 30 miles from town so it was much easier to ride bike down the gravel road than skateboard so I spent much more time on my bikes.

we need a you tube video of chuck doing an ollie! i got a board you can use.

that ollie at the dne of the video is just as high as the power box in the bike video.... I agree biking probably takes more kahones, but skateboarding takes A LOT MORE SKILL!
