You don't know what kill to death ratio means? You know what a ratio is right? In an online first person shooter a lifetime k/d around 1.5 isn't bad, if you come across someone who has 25,000 kills and a lifetime k/d better than 2 he's pretty good. I haven't played this online much but, so I'm sure I'm still negative, but in Halo 3 I was 1.5ish last I checked.

Damn XBL and Hard Drives...I bought the xbox forever and a year ago, don't have a hard drive, and don't have this game yet. Prob won't get it til ~Xmas and need to renew my XBL and hack a 20GB HD into a 120GB.

1.5 isn't bad... depends what you shoot and how you play. I sneak around and try knifing people all the time. My K/D is 1.6 or there abouts. A buddy of mine does nothing but snipe and he's at like 2.5 K/D halfway through prestige. If I'm above 1:1 on a match I'm happy, trying to get my lifetime closer to 2:1.

Forgot about this thread... finally started playing online, very fun.. but there's so much stuff for guns and such, kinda nice though... I'm debating prestige when i get that far... a lot of work for a neat little emblem, more classes, and having to deal with challenges that u've done all over again..
At the moment this is how i'm sitting (not the best by far)
Spec Ops - 64/69 stars (only have high explosive and armor piercing to beat on veteran), if anyone can give advice on high explosive please do, we can't figure out a strategy for shit on it.. (I'd like to give credit to Blackcherrytsi for how far he's helped me get on that... all of it being 2 player))
Campaign - 83.3% total 100 in recruit, regular, hardened, and 66.7% in veteran (got internet at the new place so i've been slacking on that). Only 5/45 intel (gonna go back and get them later)
Multiplayer online - 37% - Lvl 26, kills 621, .87 k/d ratio,.. do have a 1.17 win ratio and 19.10% accuracy (just put those last 2, because it's the only things i have that are better than AJ, lol)
I'd be a lot further if i had more time to play...

if you get 5 other buds who are decent to good, youll likely win game after game.
when its just me doing mercenary deathmatch, it seems like im losing more games than winning..despite bein at or near the top of my team in kills might i add

yeah it makes no sense. I have been yelled at and told to shut up when i call ouut my death or when i see someone i missed or couldn't kill. stupid.

Cause sitting 2 feet from your tv wearing a headset play MW2 but don't talk on it is +10000 cool points.
Merc DM has been pretty 50/50 for me so far.

yeah bubba well win ratio is high cause when u play your on my team lol. whats your highest win streak mine is 26 in a row nukka.... oh and getting 2 nukes in one day was the coolest thing ever and i thought i would never get one. u should prestige or how ever u spell it i keeps me interested in the game i guess. or just shows the life i dont have
