Pretty cheap. I decided to have Guy spray it in Lloyds booth since my garage is covered under a foot of primer dust and I cant wash it due to the weather. 3 little nibs. I really like it. Was HVLP 2 pass 50% overlap with SEM Hot Rod single stage over global sealer. It should look good going down the track slightly behind Bill, Dave and Matt. 🙂

Who is this guy and does he paint misc. parts like hoods for cheap too?

His name is Guy, he is the painter at Lloyds auto in Moorhead. He wont do body work but will do final prep and painting. His rate is $25 an hour and the booth fee is $250 for a car, probably less for just a hood. He is an excellent painter and has been spraying for over 25 years. He will work weekends and is extremely fast. Total spray time on my car was under 2 hours for sealer and 2 coats. I can pm you his cell number if you want to talk to him about your paint. Progressive is really great for hoods and smaller jobs.

You dont cut or buff satin paint, that would defeat the purpose. 🙂

You not being a prick it contrary to my opinion. I am glad that you will be appreciative of my opinion, and respectful enough to stay out of this thread. By the way, your little sig quote just makes you look stupid. I would think pretty much everyone here will agree I know a few things about building cars. Keep it though, I enjoy it.

Yeah, for some reason he changed it to reverse alphabetical order.

Or... maybe re-arranging it in alphabetical order using last names?

Its not flat, 80% gloss satin. 🙂

I am doing a sprayout part. It will be at United downtown early next week.
