Smart Phones

Just bought a Motorola Android and absolutely love it. I still have 7 days of my trial before I'm stuck with the phone, and wondering what other options might be better(for Verizon). I did pay quite a bit for it (around 350 - the 100 dollar mail in Rebate) and there are a few other "droid" phones out for Verizon. All I know is the Google OS kicks ass!

Motorola Droid is the best CDMA "android" based phone available right now. The Nexus One will be the next "It" phone once it makes its way to CDMA technology....especially if you buy an unlocked version.

I love my Tour. Wicked fast, tons of room, amazing features...and considering I literally bought it for $0.00 from Verizon, Ill stick with it...

From what I have heard the Storm2 is the internals of the current Tour...then added the touch.

and waiting for the official not leaked 5.0 OS to come out for the Tour.

The HTC Eris is a solid phone. Much better form factor than the droid but not quite the power.

Honestly, I love my Samsung Saga, but it's because I really like the treo style of phones, and there was no new treo. It's not a hip phone, but I paid under $100 for it on ebay new.

if you don't care about applications and just want a phone that does nearly everything, something with document viewing and multimedia capabilities, the env touch is really nice. tacking on the mobile-web option gives you a handy way to wile away the hours with youtube and wikipedia (assuming you haven't added a 16gb flash card and filled it with films).

i was considering a smart-phone, but the mandatory data package steered me toward the env

That was my 2 choices but I had to have some sort of alternative keypad to the touchscreen.

Env touch has a mandatory data package with it now too...Rumor has it the chocolate touch will be coming with it soon too.

Droid is sweet. I went from a Q to a Droid and am very happy with it except for the stupid short data cable/charge cable.

I've had the Palm Pre since it came out and love it. I hear the Pre 2 is coming to Verizon...it will have double the memory as well. 16GB I think. Webos kicks droids ass!
