Interstate Dragways CLOSED!!!

What is the point in keeping secrets about this from everyone? Why don't the people who "know" just speak up so we know wtf to expect? The faster the word gets out they are open, the more drag racers and spectators they will have. All the grade school secrets are annoying as hell.

I wasn't going to say a word until this situation was in stone. After reading the start of this thread, I HAD to say something, before it turned into 'Hey everyone that just heard it is closed, they were wrong, it is OPEN for sure....but, um, not like last year where 'for sure' ended up being 'not for sure', then 'not at all''....I hope you can understand that as long as a certain individual has certain 'rights', we cannot speak on it. Once the 'rights' are gone, this isn't a secret society.
The track owners have spoke with us, the track owners have said there is a chance they will have the track for 2010, and if they do, they want Street Legal days. Until I hear that they have the track 100%, I won't announce more info. It isn't a high school game, and if this thread wasn't created (not Matt's fault, someone tried to sabotage the IDR 2010 races), nobody would be the wiser.
I expect there to be Street Legals days, and am 95% certain there will be some....just be patient until the 'facts' are 100%....

Pretty much a bitch move huh?Like I said, I hate being wrong about my info. But, to rest your wee lil heads. One of Gregs employees was my youngest kids
gf and I happened to talk to her a few days ago while having her car in for repairs and she filled the blanks in for me and thats where I got my info. So thats how Id be "In the loop" Will. And Bill, it's not a bitch move if you dont know for sure whats happening. Do you say shit abouty someone if you dont know if it's true? I would hope not. Regardless of how I feel about the situation, it's what I know (or dont) in this situation. I'll bE HAPPY TO TALK TO Anyone face to face on the subject and say what I THINK is going to happen. I just wont broadcast it on here.I dont get off holding info over anyone's heads Chris. It's knowledge anyone can find out if they do some questioning. I just happen to know a few people directly affected by it.

I think the track was purchased by aliens, and they are interested in Matt's Probe.

Pretty poor promotion on the business end of the track to leave all their potential customers confused and in the dark....Come on Nick, of all people you should know what it takes when making changes to a business. Deals don't always work out the way you want and you'd probably lose more customers if you told people something and couldn't commit than waiting for until you can confirm a business deal.

Now we're talking what 30-45 days before season start and "issues" all the sudden arise and there may or may not be racing this year, thats just piss poor managment there.

That's what I'm going by, maybe that's inaccurate. A lot had to do with one of the plans for Minnesota flood diversion as it was to run between their property and the family land just to the west of the track.
