Reading comp ftw..Yup and if you had bothered to read you would have noticed that the cars are listed in ALPHABETICAL order not order of significance jackass. Funny how the "Hillbilly go cart" was on that list,
As well as 2 other Fords. Strange how Ford got 3 spots on a top 10 list when no other make even got 2. So by your logic, as well as that particular list Ford>BMW. -

Wow you really are an arrogant little faggot aren't you. My question is why do you even come back to this site knowing not a single member has any respect for you. The level of douchebaggery in you is through the fucking roof.
Honestly I cannot say what hasn't already been said about you. If you love Euro cars so much, why don't you gtfo of this country and move to Germany. Oh by the way, BMW's are like Camry's over there...there is nothing special about them in their home country.
Yeah a BMW is a nice car, but it certainly isn't everything that you believe it is. Now how about you leave here you kraut-sucking piece of shit.

Actually, BMWs are still the "I'm a special asshole" car in Germany. Even in a country where Avis will rent you a 911 right out of the Airport, BMW drivers in Germany carry on the fine reputation of being self-important assholes. Even though more than 50% of the BMWs sold in Germany are diesels

Mercedes is the GM of Germany. They make everything from city busses to tractors to heavy trucks to the 2-seater A class to you name it.
BMW has never sold a FWD car, and manufactures and cultivates a level of pretentiousness in its brand that is cross language, cross continent, and cross cultural.
Even the name of the company is pompous -- MB, Audi, and Porsche all have names that relate back to the humans that founded those enterprises. BMW is named after the German state of Bayern, aka Bavaria.
Ask many Bavarians and they will tell you that they are Bavarian, not German. The BMW roundel logo is derived from the Bayern/Bavarian coat of arms when it was an independant fiefdom/kingdom.
It would be something akin to a car company in the US called "Confederate Pride Motors", with the dixie flag being worked into the car company's logo. A sense of separate, independant superiority that made the rest of the country roll its eyes.
My sense is that it never bothered BMW one bit that the MB cars of the 80s were better built or that the 911s of pretty much every year were faster; BMW made exactly the car they felt like making and you would like it too if you were worth dealing with, end of story.
Somehow, (quite intentionally, I'd bet) that sentiment leaked out of the ivory towers and into the sales force and ultimately to most BMW drivers.
I remember seeing a comic taken from a german newspaper where some guy is getting tailgaited and having high-beams flashed at him. The chasing car finally blows by and its an Audi or something. The driver of the over taken car says to his passenger, "Does that guy think he's driving a BMW?"

Lol Chill.
+1 at my disclaimer.
