Speed Ticket in Fargo... Questions
-
In ND, violations that are 2 pts or fewer are not reportable. Pay the ticket and move on.
I've also found that infractions from MN don't appear to show up in ND.
If you change insurance and lie about receiving the ticket, that's fraud. But if you stay with the same insurer they won't find out about it.

Pretty sure they will... I'm a MN resident and all my insurance company knew after everyone of my tickets up here...

I have gotten tickets in MN and ND, and MN cops have never mentioned my ND speeding tickets, but they did see my ND tint ticket on my record.
Anyways, quit being dumb, you were speeding, got caught fairly, and got a tiny ticket, you should consider yourself lucky, in MN that would have been a ~$130 ticket.

No matter how small the ND tickets(I've gotten one for $10 and one for $15), they go on your MN record for whatever reason. I've had a few big ones in MN that didn't even show up, but I got dinged because of my $10 ND one that wasn't supposed to effect my insurance.

It's right by schumacher goodyear or whatever, just down a block.
And when I did my ride along like a year and a half ago my ND stop sign violation, no headlights displayed, loud party, and minor all showed up when the cop ran my info while we were in the car. Just because the cop doesn't talk about your past run ins with the law doesn't mean they don't know about them. EVERY single ND thing I have gotten was there in plain sight to both the cop and me when he ran my info.
