On March 13th I purchased a 87 Nissan 300zx turbo auto, which turned out to be a real GEM, blown motor, broken shit everywhere, and a nightmare under the hood.

Moving to the engine, after looking at all the fuel leaks, and half the shit not being bolted on i decided i was gonna pull the motor and fix everything. First i did a compression test
#1-42psi
#3-130
#5-80psi
#2-140
#4-135
#6-144So it came in the shop and got put up in the air.

Shit came apart fast as it was filled with water only, and was only half full anyway, the radiator wasnt bolted in, and most of the stuff on the fenderwells was hanging loose as well.Used my 85 turbo drivetrain which was in good shape, i pulled it down to a shortblock and went through it and ported the heads

The interior was nasty, switched to a T5 5 speed with DXD stage 3 clutch, covered a bunch of stuff in black suede, put in analog guages, and did alot of upkeep. Made headers out of 304SS that are equal length at 18.7" of primary and mated that to a GT3582r i shoved in a buick .63a/r turbine housing with 36mm internal gate. Made full 3" 304SS exhaust out the back.
Yes the welds arent great, i lost my TIG access so i had to make do with some MIG action, which sucked, oh well

video of 2nd pass at the track
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kfu5j0RqiLM[/ame]
60'-2.28
1/8-9.64
mph-75
1/4-14.85
mph-955psi, very rich, and stock timing. Hope to go 13s at BIR on 7-8psi later this month. I need to buy tuning software and install the 670cc injectors with E85 so i can safely run 15-18psi and see if it blows at 400+whp
