I never really realized how shitty they were until i started driving the s. The suspension really gives alot of feedback. And the moped can be kinda scary with those little wheels in some of those pot holes.this is true, the s2000 is surprisingly stiff. it lets you know where the bumps are. haha

never had much of a problem in fargo, there's just a cpl spots that i avoid where i drive on a regular basis (7th ave between 45th and interstate, and 10th st between 12 ave and 15th ave)... Moorhead on the other hand i avoid completely... main avenue is so fucked i just never go there...

Yeah, they're pretty shitty. Even in the new neighborhoods it seems like the roads suck.** Osgood for example has some pretty wavy bumpy roads, not as many pot holes though. **Like others have said, its hard to maintain a decent surface with a climate like Fargo's. Think about the exapanding and contracting that goes on with tempetures ranging from -40 to 90+.
Just be glad that we don't live in a city like New York. The roads are horrible on another level over there.
Osgood, Eagle Run, Westport Beach, Charleswood all have bumpy roads. Biggest reason is that the neighborhoods are still being developed so there are constantly construction crews going up and down the streets w/ heavy (relatively) equipment...add in the crazy temp shifts from summer to winter combined with the groundswelling that comes with that and it's easy to see how they can get pretty effed up.
