It was $10/lb at Tintmasters and other local shops.Wow... last time I filled at Tintmasters was probably 4-5 years ago... I am pretty sure it was $5/lb at that time.
I used to grumble in Brainerd at $4/lb as most people I knew in other states were paying $2.50 - $3/lb.
I think I should buy a refill station!

I'm not sure what it takes these days, but I know before, you needed a pretty substantial setup to be "legal" to refill the tanks.

Cant you just go to a medical supply store that sells it? I don't think that you have to have any special permits to buy it...

Needs to be Nytrus Plus, which is the Nitrous with the added chemicals. It is illegal to sell nitrous oxide (medical grade) without a prescription.
To have and sell it legally you need to have a hot works permit, separate room to store the mother bottles, permit to store over 500 cubic ft of an oxidizer as well as have stickers to the entrance of the building housing the mother bottles, also if there is a fire and you can not get the bottles out or verify visually to the fire fighters they are out they will not go into the building.
I'm getting my shop up and may have a fill station so have talked with the fire marshal about it.
