na, he had normal pedal feel still, and if the springs had broke it would have had the opposite symptoms

He got it apart, i called it 🙂

welded the disc to either the PP or flywheel

where are the carnage pics jason?

      Race WT 3500lbs nitto DR's @ 15lbs 2nd gear burnout with a 3.54: rear gear = fail

Clutch is fine. It just welded a 1mm stripe of feramic on the flywheel. After I pryed it off with a small screw driver. I just scraped the stripe off the flywheel with a razor blade. I put the car back together and did some test launches and the clutch works good. Roasted the hell out of my DR's three times back to back, no problem. The clutch works just like it did when it was new. That is one tough clutch. :icon_bigsmurf:

Ha, I ran a 9.3X @ 112, grabbed 3rd gear before the 1/8th, it wasn't there and coasted at BIR the week before.

Damn, that's worse. Was he able to put in fifth and start it up to drive home?

I just turned the motor off, put the car in first gear, and stated the car. I just ran through the gears as needed up or down just like a big truck trans. :icon_bigsmurf:
