Toppers show?

We tried to get a few cars in there but this year it seems this show is very poorly organized. I called 3 different people to try get some information if they still had openings. They had me contact some Rich guy @ Gateway but after calling a half a dozen times i could never get the guy on the phone and no one else seemed to know what was going on so i gave up and said screw it.

Actually, it doesn't fill up fast at all. This year there is twice as much room and you can register up until the day before.

that car of Rydell's has won every top show award there is and was on the show "Rides" on the TLC channel

yeah, it won the Riddler award...that alone is enough to set me into a state of awe.

I'm going on sunday......some of the cars they make on Rides are insane....5-axis does some crazy work!

I know it's already over, but yeah, they didn't used to allow tuners into the show at all. 4 years ago I started on the entry committee and did it up until last year when I backed out of the club for a while.

They need to change their ways, and my buddies that are still in the club tried to do a decent job of getting more in there this year. There was a few nice ones in there this year, mostly in the Odden's line up. I kept telling them that if they want to grow both their attendance and their show vehicles, they've gotta open their eyes. Most of them see the light now, but there are a couple of guys in the club that I'll never see eye to eye with, both on tuners, and traditional styled like my '26.

Hoping to have my 'lude in the show next year, but we'll see what happens between now and next year.
