Weekend Street Legal Event 2011

We plan to host another weekend event at Top End Dragways for 2011, and are in the process of brainstorming ways to improve on the weekend. Knowing we will have a new face at the track this year, we can put any complaints about traction, concessions, and the like at bay for now....what would you like to see different? The car show idea was fun for a few people, but nothing that really constituted $500 in trophies....So unless we get a big demand for another area for a show and shine type mini event, we will move on to a new idea (while still offering an area to show off your car, but minimal (if any) awards).
We could look into the following:
Live Band for Saturday night?
Pit bike challenge (minimum of 10 entries for small prize)
Grudge style racing for a certain time period (no times will be displayed, simply win lights)
etc...Is there any authentic ideas floating around that you would like to offer? We don't want to take the focus off of racing, so it would need to be something performance automotive related, or something you would typically have at a drag race.

I'm Know Corey and Kevin will be a good Grudge. Maybe Christian? Not sure of his plans.

I like the vs idea. Maybe ND vs MN or north vs south whatever.
Also, and this would be harder, one vehicle and a contest who can go the fastest with it. Obviously that would be tricky and there would be a screening process for participants. Maybe round up a "beater".
I think a DJ would be better then a band as well, maybe add a dance floor/area infront of DJ.
