Private track rental
-
There will be a private track rental at Top End Dragways on Thursday, September 22.
This thread is to inform anyone who may want to participate in this rental.
Here is what I know so far....
-The rental will run from noon-7pm.
-Participants will get as many runs as possible.
-Entry fee is $75.
-The track will be sticky as hell.
-Regular radial tires will NOT be allowed. Drag radials may be used if approved by the track renter. Slicks are highly encouraged. Cars that are denied due to drag radials would most likely be allowed with slicks.
-If the 22nd is rained out, the rental will be moved to Friday the 23rd.
-There will be a cap to the amount of vehicles allowed to attend.
-Spectators will be allowed. Their entry fee is yet to be decided. Please post here, or PM me, if you are interested in attending.

Private rental open to spectators wouldnt exactly be "private" now would it :icon_scratch:Although I understand what you're saying, I don't really see the difference between letting other drivers attend/race, and letting people spectate the event. It's all money that goes toward covering the rental fee. The person renting the track has full control over who can enter the grounds, and who can't. No one said the boards were gonna show times.

If this tnt is open to spectators, I am out.Boards and printer can both be turned off. For any racer not wanting his/her time revealed there will be two people who will know the time, the driver and myself (just because I have to run the computer and tell the driver what they have run).

Are there still spots available.

Seems to me like it'd be a good day to get your license...
