Rings were gapped/installed wrong, piston to wall clearance was ~0.2mm...not sure how much clearance the wisecos require, but the supertech ones I got to replace them say min is 0.07mm....

I figured this was coming sooner or later judging by some of the other stuff I found on this car. Oh well, motor is on its way to being put back together...
