Hey whats up everyone my names Jake, im from Moorhead, I drive a red 92 Honda Civic HB, i just got it this week the few things done to it is a new deck, speakers, and a can, its a five speed but its got the little engine in it so i think im gonna drop a bigger one in there before i do anything to it, any suggestions of what i should put in there or where i could get a good engine to put in it.Later.

I agree. d16y8 or d16z6 (both are sohc v-tec) and turbo it.

how fast you wanna go? if you want crazy fast i would swap. if you want a quick street car a swap isn't worth the time. what type of hatch is it? you might already have a d16z6 in it. if not then you have the d15 pos. if you have the d15 you can do a mini me swap (make it vtec) or you can just boost that engine (not sure how boost friendly the d15 is). if you have the d16z6 i would just take it down to sls and have nick boost if for you. if you absolutely have to swap it, then i would start researching pretty heavily because what engine you swap is all personal preference and all have there pros and cons. there is no best engine to swap into a hatch imho. oh and hey whats up

jake i agree lose that motor, (agree that is probably a d15) and turbo. but a job would help alot

were hiring 4people quit this weekend and roughly 10 more on the way
