Yea...i don't beleive the cops in this town. I was driving 35 on university before it turns into a 35 zone, and a guy passes me going at least 45 - 50 mph. And he goes right by a cop. The cop just looks at him, and goes back to playing on her computer. And yesterday, i was going a tad bit over the speed limit, and look in my rear view mirror, and there's a cop there following me. I'm going 15 over the limit, and i have no idea how long this cop has been following me. So i slow down, and the cop just turns off onto a side road. No ticket! Either these are the worst cops ever, or the best. I'm not sure which yet...

Is there really a need to pull someone over going 10-15 over? Maybe they have something better to do, or are en route to a more important problem.

On another note, my one and only speeding ticket was for going 42 in a 35....so there.

I haven't had an encounter with the FPD so I think they do a pretty good job besides when discriminating against blue hatches.

Hey when we live in the Meth infested capital of the world, and arent busting the thousands of labs out there, they still have time to pull people over going 84 in a 75 mph zone on i 29 in North Dakota. Most useless ticket ever. I hope they enjoy my 45$

I know a few Fargo cops personally and what they have told me is that if they pulled over every person going 10mph over the speed limit they would be pulling everyone over. Also, how they decide who to pull over like if you’re just barely going over the speed limit, it is just based on 2 things. First their mood. i.e. if they wanna get out of the car, talk to you, basically do work. Second if you look suspicious. If you are just barely speeding and get pulled over, they are looking for something else to bust you on. As for the tint, since the tint law changed you can have 50% on ur roll downs, alot of cops passing you cant always tell how dark it is at a glance. Like some tint looks darker on other cars. So they just don’t pull people over for that as much anymore, just to check ur tint. So if you get pulled over for tint they are again fishing for something else. I mean I have 5% on my roll downs, and 50% on my windshield and I haven’t gotten pulled over for it since the law changed. Before that I was getting pulled over for it at least 5 times a month!

I got pulled over 2 weeks ago. 20% on my rolldowns, 5% on everything else. $20 ticket for tint and a warning for no front license plate. Was pulled over on 13th ave in town by a Highway Patrol 😕
