      I don't need any more advice, just "sold" the car as a parts car. should have it gone in a couple weeks.

        Cool you sold the car, but as for the throttle part, every vehicle is different. MOST newer vehicles will kill the inj. pulse when you hold the pedal at full throttle. Older fuel inj. vehicles will flood the car. It is highly recommended not to touch the gas on any vehicle unless it is carburated. Or unless you know what you are doing.

              I've taken 2 electronic/engine performance(with a month or so of fuel pumps/filters/etc) classes at my HS. I knew what was doing.

              no race car? becuz homeowner...

                  I'm not saying that you may not know what you are doing....Im just telling what my knowledge is based on....Im a master certified auto technician, and I stated the rule of thumb for those who dont know what they are doing.....im not trying to do a pecker measuring contest here either.

                        Id go with a type-s, almost got an SI, but these are much more rare, look hard tho and find a good one.
