But he also said that race fuel has blown up some engines that can't handle it. All Ethan and I were saying is that Race gas doesn't add HP, it adds safety.

He has a jetting problem, not a fuel problem.
If the bike ran fine before, then the jets are correct. It is probably in need of a cleaning and inspection.Roller28 wrote:
And not to mention it is a carburated CBR 600, it is not ment for a speed demon, it is ment for riding.

I'm on your side here Chuck, but oxygenated fuel does add HP, with no other changes to the fueling, engine timing, or forced induction. -
Why do you people have to get so F'n technical? Clean the jets or change them out, I was just trying to help this kid, and yall have to jump up my ass about this! And whether the bike won a championship 10 years ago does not matter, try runinng that bike vs a new 600! You all spend way to much time in doors during the winter time, I swear!

I then joined the Military to serve my country, and ended up here in sunny california. Would you want to move back to Fargo? I love it out here, it is nice and warm, and so much to do. I get back to Fargo every X-mas, and I realize when I am home, why I left. I hate the COLD!
