how much did you pay for it? where did you get it? who owned it before? how many miles? is the engine as pristine as the body/interior?

The engine is in great shape. I'll post a picture in a day or two. It just hit a 100 thousand when I purchased it. I got it for $ 1100 from a guy I know. No RUST ON THE CAR. It was a hell of a find. It just needed a new clutch and brakes and pressure plate, and the flywheel had to be resurfaced. Oh yeah and I got new tires they were bald. Its great you guys will have to see it some time.

damn, sounds like a great find, something like the 1982 rx7 in the forum... except that the steering in the rx7 is soooo horrible, and the owner won't take less than 2800

no, i was referring to the 1982 that is listed for 3k.
i'm a little curious about the 87, i would like a 2nd gen rx7. anyway, i'm currently looking at a couple of cars in town (waiting until it's dry to test them again). i'll pm you if i don't buy anything soon

i dunno about that 87. i think i called about it a while back before i got my talon. i believe 87 was the year before they gave them a little more balls, so im not really sure if it would be worth it.

It does need an alignment, but other than that it's in great shape. Goes like stink, faster than my Civic. And you almost get two cars out of the deal, lots of parts including a good throttle body and upper intake.

ok, the car that i had my eye on needs too much suspension work to be a worthy purchase (86 camry). great engine, great car overall, but the steering and suspension leave something to be desired, would make a great grocery-getter or to-and-from-work-only car
