"imports suck"

Ok I had one of the strangest experiences today, I drive a 90 ford probe gt and going down main today the top radiator hose blew. Not only was it about the easiest thing to go wrong on an engine, but it went out right next to an autoquest. So i got the whole thing fixed in less then 15 minutes. But the really funny thing was that when I had my hood up just off main ave two guys in a red ford truck drove by and yelled out, "imports suck!" all I could do was laugh cause it's a domestic and it's a ford, the same make they were driving. Some people need to learn cars better before they judge.

bashing on ford is the same as other people bashing on imports....who cares? not everyone likes a civic/sti/tsi/prelude and not everyone likes a corvette/mustang/camaro/charger

The reason they stopped producing them was Ford was charging $4,000 over their top mustang model (GT's) base price, which eventually led to their demise. Not because they were junk or kept breaking.

That sucks about the comment, but there are plenty of stupid people anywhere you go. I'd probably have gotten the same thing, even though my Probe is the most "non-import" model of them all.
By the way, the Probe's 2.2 turbo 4 was originally designed for use in small trucks.
