I dont care how geeky you think it is, HELMETS SAVE LIVES. When i get my bike, i am going to where a helmet all the time, i dont care if it messes up my hair or anything. I would rather look like a geek, that die in an accident. Thats just me personally.

I had to be a bearer of bad news to a friend. his best friend is Dan Trevinos bro. It was during the banquet when i told him to go call his friend. I hate being put in those positions.

I also think a Helmet law should be passed. One of my best friends and co workers rode from our store to his house, which is no more than 1 mile away. We all told him to wear his helmet and he didn't, saying it was just a short ride. I left work that day a few minutes early only to see a smashed bike in the middle of the intersection and my friend bleeding from his head.
He may not have done anything stupid, but the lady in the Tacoma that cut him off was all it took for him to have his bike totaled and get some stitches in his head. He wasn't riding beyond his skill level or doing anything of the sort, she just caused an accident.
From talking to a close friend that moved to Canada, where it is law all motorcyclists must wear helmets, he said after wearing one every day for 3 years now when he rides, he could not really imagine riding without. Whether it gets hot and obnoxious on warm days or not, common sense tells me it wouldn't be the dumbest thing to wear one.

I met dan a couple of times and i thought he was a cool guy. I'd just like to say that i feel for his family and friends and know that hopefully we can all be a little more responsible with what we do and never take life for granted.

well i just got home from his furneral, and they layed him to rest up by the airport. the coolest thing about it was that Py or Paymen(not sure which one it was) rode their bike to the furneral and right as he was leaving he reved his bike up to the rev limiter acouple of time. well if any of you guys didn't make and want to go pay respect to him let me know and i will show you where his grave is.

I've met him before, one of my best friends was friends with him, and I talked to him kinda when he gave her a ride home, he seemed like a really nice guy. and I do agree, he should have been wearing a helmet. my prayers go to his family and friends, it's too bad that it happened to him. my bf wants to get a bike, and I told him that I'm scared to ride on one, my dad was in a motorcycle accident when he was younger and almost got drove over cause some old lady didn't see him, and he is really suffering from it now. you can never trust other people's driving when your on a bike, you just never know what will happen.. but you should always wear a helmet, no matter what the conditions are!
