I dropped off Frietag after the cruise kinda died off...and while driving home (on 19th) I saw all those guys parked in front of a, almost dark, taco bell parking lot....it obviously looked closed but all I saw was a big ass group in front of the door...didnt know what was going down....But I would of NEVER guessed anything like that was going on...
Its not even halfway through summer and probably the #1 spot we all gather at was pissed away...by kids who shouldnt of been associated with us in the first place...

Tony: Sorry about last night. That was very stupid. I had no reason to do it and would like to apologize completely for the whole thing. It's been fun hanging out there, and I understand the reasoning behind this.
Jim: Holy shit man. I give you shit. I never once seriously said anything bad about your car. The only one thing i've ever said mean about you is the fact that you barely know how to turn a wrench on your car. I was pissed off, and the fact that you didn't know how to disconect your own battery suprised me. I do not have "a crew", and if I did, it wouldn't be the cause of problems. I know I don't have a fast car, becuase I don't have the money. My current project is under way, and I won't brag it up, but it's going to be very different than anyone else's(around here anyway). Sorry if my shit doesn't impress you, and isn't good enough for you. It's cool that your car is running, and it sounds like a freightliner. But I really don't like the fact that you try to act cool to me when you feel like it and your an asshole to me in the shop or on the boards. If your gonna be an asshole, just do it all the time and save our time. I honestly would like to know where you and me stand, because it's pretty shady.
Everyone: Sorry for being "a ricer" I guess one burn out that everyone noticed got me in a whole lot of trouble, but wtf man. It's cool for diaz to do a burn out cuz he's got a sick caddy, but I can't do one? Neither of it is right or called for, but what's the difference?
-It seems like this is the second year of "oh my god, the scene is going to shit... we better yell at everyone that doesn't have 30 g's into there car. Poinbt being, our scene here has much room for improvement. Let's try to make it better instead of dwelling on what happened last night. It's been happening for so long, and it just took someone to step in and say something before anyone noticed it. I will be lightening up drastically on the "manuevers" made in my car, and I really hope everyone else could do the same.

I dont even come up alot anymore because of some of the stuff I've seen when I was up there. Even I've done some stupid shit when I've been up there. It wont happen again I can assure that. I truly hope that these antics are drastically reduced. I actually look foreward to coming up to the F/M area to hang with everyone. Although, I usually just hang with the boyz at SLS/SLD. It would be nice to know that there is still a scene up there or at least something worth driving up for.

i could careless what car you drive, but you DO rip on other people stuff alot, ask anyone. if you call it just giving people shit, then take the heat when people rip on yours.

joel, sorry to say it but jim's right. you do talk a lot of shit i've noticed and one thing you cant seem to do is sit down with the person you're having problems with and talk about it.. you always go and post it for everyone else to view, so maybe you could get some support. Don't get me wrong, im not tryin to piss you off or anything but its what i've noticed and from the looks of this whole post some other people have too. The reason they singled you out, the 'white vigor' and stuff is not for any reason other than you tend to (from what i've seen) try to make fun of people right to their face. It's not always meant to hurt them/piss them off but most of the time it does. im sayin this to help you in the future so youre not the only one singled out and not the retarded black soccer dad fuel efficient hyundai with the wing.

Geez, for once I'm glad to say I had other things to do than cruise on a weekend...although, I do have to apologize for driving like and idiot this past weekend too...you see a bunch of us were at thunder road racing go-karts and I intentionally spun out a couple of my friends a few times and got yelled at a bunch.....sorry guys....

and another thing to take to heart joel, you dont have to try impress people. People will like you for you. One thing many other people and myself have noticed is you always try to act like you know "everything" about certain things. Youve listed certain cars with run of the mill subs as having "the best system in town", stock preludes just washed and waxed as "cleanest car in town" and other "best suspension/computer/poopsmear in a public toilet/etc. in town" I know you dont do it to try irk people or necessarily to make people like you but i dunno, little things like that get to me after awhile, little things get to me about the way people order in drive thru too that most people dont even notice i bet too. So just remember...people will like you for yourself and you dont have to act like you're better than yourself all the time. And no you're not the only one who has that problem too, i know i do as well many times.

I actually have gotten to the point that I really dont like to go crusin anymore because of dumbasses. I used to have a clean driving record....but I got in my accident which wasn't even that big. Wasn't caused by me being a dumbass, just talking on my cell when I was in a hurry during rush hour. Now Im terrified about getting in an accident. Id like to keep my baby in as much of a perfect condition as possible, but there are so many dumbasses out there that dont pay attention let alone fuck around. I almost got hit twice today!!! My own driving has toned down a lot, mainly because I didn't like getting the 18mpg I was getting compared to the 27+mpg I should be. So, I laid off the throttle, and now it feels great to just sit, drive/cruse, and enjoy life and think in the back of my head "I know my car isn't the fastest, best, nicest one around....but damn it is nice and I really dont wanna fuck it up. But if I want, I can have fun on the fly....but that is just tempation. Let it go, and just enjoy life."
It was unbearable at first when I let off the throttle, knowing that my car was just beggin to be drivin. But now, I have gotten used to driving it like the geo next to me. And have realized that I get to the next stop light or intersection just as fast as others do, or as fast as I was without wasting the gas I have.
As to the others out there that just like to fuck around, grow up, life is short and you should enjoy it. As the same as Tony and the others have said, I dont want my car fucked up, and I do miss seeing the others out just to cruise. Maybe someday when we are all old and grey, have realized how much of fools the others were and things might have toned down, we might be able to see others come out more often. But for now, we live in fear of having something of ours that we have worked hard for be ruined by another dumbass.....
Someday...just maybe someday.....someday.......

I wouldnt say the scene is going down hill in general. We just got a couple of people being idiots during cruises. We all can admit we have done stupid shit on the road in the past. But point being everyone on these boards should realize what they need to do in the future. Drive safely, dont race in town, and dont try to impress us with your speed. I dont think anyone will like you better because your car is faster. I know I was guilty in the past with trying to race everything, but I have realized it is not right. There is always somebody faster, has a nicer car, better system.......lets just cruise to hang out.

The problem with us ripping on each other is that we are basically forming a firing squad while standing in a circle. We've all done dumb stuff, we all just need to learn from it.
On a side note, the Gooseberry Park incident has been taken care of with the proper authorities, the situation was explained and an understanding was reached. That is all I can really comment on it at the time, some of you know the full story.
