Yes, all paint fades, and as was said earlier in this thread because it is a bright neon it is more noticeable, but keeping a CLEAN (waxed) car will help slow that paint fade. When your parents payed for your car to be painted hot pink, so you could have more attention since based on your posts you are the kind of person that always needs to be the center of attention (even when everyone around you hates you), you went to a half-assed shop that did a half-assed paint job and it faded ten times quicker than it should have. When you questioned that shop, just to save their asses, they told you "oh uhhhh yea, umm neon fades faster than other paint, no matter how clean you keep it" and you fucking bought it. This is why I personally feel you are retarded. And Civtiva, why would you trust someone that did get their car painted a neon color at a shitty shop (for the sole purpose of getting attention) who knows NOTHING about cars or paint except for what this shitty shop told her.
Oh wait no, I'm way off base, it wasn't anything like that, it was a show car. As was asked by someone else earlier in this thread: what shows has your car been in again?

I was commenting on the fact that the body shop told her that no matter how you take care of your car it will fade. Why isn't the orange integra fading? The orange/green civic hatch? The orange 1g DSM? The orange newer civic coupe? The green eclipse? Matt's green eclipse from grand forks? Josh's orange truck who might still be in grand forks? The millions of ricers around the world with neon paint? Because they aren't dumb enough to get fucked by a shop, then believe the shop's lies about neon fading faster than any other paint. Plain and simple, it is bullshit!

The average joe knows that a good wax is going to help prolong the life of there paint, this is pretty much a given. The reason neon paint fades so easily is because the pigment in it is very weak and fragile. Red paint has the weakest pigment of all the colors and Blaze orange, being a derivative of red is going to weakened further, hence, it will fade very fast compared to other colors. The best you can do it wax the hell out of it, keep it covered or garaged when your not driving or have the moolah to get it repainted when it fades. If you've ever seen those portable bilboards you can rent, that have the neon letters, the letters will be faded , somtimes to pint of almost looking white in as little as six months especially is they see alot of sun light.

wow, u need to get a life, like its my fault on how the shop operates and learned how to paint...............TAKE IT OUT ON ME BUDDY, honestly, i didnt say i knew everything, but any stupid dumb ass knows a neon car is gonna fade!!! IDIOT!!!!! I WAXED MY CAR HOW MANY TIMES AND IT CONTINIOUSLY FADED, so just leave me alone, and if it really irritates you that much, go pay for the damn car to be repainted so u can stop your bitching.....

Can we help him with a paint code? If not please don't waste his time. Due go to a paint shop and ask to see paint chips, it's that easy.
