Driving a lowered car in winter

I lowered my car over the summer and at first was going to buy a winter beater to get around. But I decided that my car has so much rust on it, that its not really worth storing and its practically a beater already.
My question is this, to those that drive their lowered car in winter, how many inches off the ground is your front lip and tell me your thoughts/stories/etc. Does it suck that badly?

you'll be fine...ive driven my car in the winter and its low as shit....AWD helps a little bit but ...sinc eyou have 6.5 inches of clearance thats more than what a eclipse has stock i beleive so you'll be fine

I drive my car year round, withut problems, not lowered, but I do get stuck easily

i have around 3 inches of clearence on my ride and i hope for it to sit in the garage all winter!!

Both the cars I've owned have been Ford Probes, and I don't recall getting stuck due to the ride height. I've driven right through snow banks built across streets that made snow pile up between the engine and the radiator. It can happen to any sport compact car. It largely depends on the driver and the tires.

well I drove my probe all winter and the only problem I had getting stuck was when I stoped in snow, around NDSU was where I had the most problems, I ussually had to rock my car out of the parking spot after class, but just driving around town was no problem
