ok i am guessing that nobody really cares but i put my two week notice in yesterday at alpine cleaning and restoration and today they called me and said that i am fired. First off what kind of asshole does this i gave them the respect to give the a notice that i was quiting and they drop me. so now i am stuck doing nothing for two weeks whaile i wait for my job a us bank to start. all i am asking is the next time you see an alpine van driving around toun give them the finger for me.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do NOT start at usbank!!!!!!!!!!!!! The place is a BLACK HOLE that you can never get away from, I advise taking the 2 weeks to find another job and not work with me. USBANK SUCKS!!!! ask any employee.

wait a sec, what about unemployment if they fired you? Never tried unemployment so I don't know how it works

If they had a reason to fire you then you can't draw. Since they are the ones that let you go it is their responsibility to prove you needed to be let go. If they can't prove it you are entitled to unemployment benefits....but since you have a job lined up already you probably won't get anything.

I put in three months there when I first moved to Fargo. It is a dead-end. shit ass place to work. If your shift is 8:00 - 4:30 and you log in at 8:01 and log out at 4:29, they'll dock those two minutes from your paycheck. They also will write you up if you do that a total of three times. It is a very repetitive job, you do the same thing day in and day out and are stuck in your cubicle for as long as you work there. The place is an absolute hell hole. Find something else while you have two weeks to kill. Go work for Service Master or someone being you have cleaning experience... just run the hell in the opposite direction from US Bank.

I never had to work in a cubicle but from what I seen on "Office Space" which was a documentary on a office job I would stay the hell away.
