I'd be wondering that if I saw a car from pre-1998ish w/ only 10k miles on it. Look for the obvious signs...worn brake pedal, worn seats, etc.... to see if it appears to have been a roll-back

its in perfect shape, no scratches in paint, no wear and tear on the interior, no sign of it being a roll back. I was shocked when i saw the ad. I had someone that i know in the cities look at it for me. and yes, its in the cities.

1st off Holden, there is no way in hell you are going to get 6000$ for that car. Sorry buddy - I've owned MANY EJ/EG/EH chassis Civics and there is no market for one in that price range that is stock.. You'll be LUCKY to pull 4 grand from it. Your wasting your money in the paper at that price..

And about this RX-7 down here in the Cities - well, I've seen it with my own eyes. Yes, it has 18000 miles on it (not 10) and yes its mint - but I believe the asking price was 12 grand or so. Its a GSL-SE. No bank around Fargo will loan anything more than 2000 for a 1gen RX7. Good luck with that..

Your best bet is to cut your losses and trade it in at your wonderful dealership. My guess is they are bullshitting you - and if not - then take advantage of them while you can. You wont get 6k out of that car, period.

Actually guys, ive decided to keep the civic and turn it into a show car. Civics look awsome all done up. I just put an intake on it and did all the vacuum hoses in blue. i have a bunch of stereo equipment on order. MB Quart Coaxles, MB Quart Components, and 2 MB Quart 10 Inch Subs, for amps i have a Phoenix Gold 400.4, and 600.4. I am also saving up for a Clarion Touch screen.
