Ok im getting a 93 civic Hb VX i am going to get eibach sportline springs for it and am wondering if anyone knows if 18s will rub the fenders if i do that i was told they might rub with the stock suspension. Should i go 18 or just go with the 17s? and is my choice of spring ok or someone have something else for about the same price. Around 300. I dont want adj. coil overs either. Just lowering springs. 😉

18's are a little much for a Civic HB you will look just fine and will save money with some 17's.

I think 17's will fit perfect and look damn good depending on the rim.

16's, dont count your chickens before they hatch matt, worry about getting the car first.

I wouldn't go any bigger than 16. Bigger than 16 will cause more traction problems and just look too big.

Bigger than 16 will cause traction problems? How?
I hooked better on my 17s than I do on my 15s. 😉

In all honesty I would just go with some 15" or 16" Rota Slipstreams. They look so damn pimp on a hatch. Then you can pick up some Falken Azenis for cheap too on the 15's.

I had 2154017's on my 94 civic coupe and loved them. No complaints at all on them with ride, but since the car was lowered they rubbed the top of the fenders when I would corner and hit bumps. I should have gone with 2054017's on it to be closer to the original size, but the 215's were what came with the rims. 18's will be waaaay too much for your civic, itll rub too much unless you do a lot of fender work. In all, go with 16's, unless you find an extremely nice 17" that will look great. Oh, I had Gunmetal Motegi MR7's with Nitto NT450's at first, then got brand new NeoGens.
