How much would this cost to reproduce? Thinking of going BIG over winter.

I would Like to say Nick did a great job on this build!! Probly one of the only top mount Manifolds on a 1g dsm?? I might put it in the Tintmasters car show just for the engine bay!
Take a look at BOV, placed right on the fmic does it get any better than that? -

The power output outflows the MAS B. MAS wont fit anyways. C. To actually use the full potential of this setup i'd strongly recomend rods and springs and retainers so it can be rev'd to @ least 8k as thats where all the power is going to be.
No sence in building something overkill for the motor so it can be used to its full potential.

So around $5k or so?

Yeah no head porting, .020" overbore on the bottom end. There's no need to do any port work to a DSM head until you start pushing 600+hp.
Idk what your talking about as far as saying silly to wanna rev over 8k. All of us who have made decent power have been reving to @ least 8k. If you running a stock intake manifold then reving to 8k is worthless as the stock intake will not make power up there, especially on a smaller turbo it just does you no good @ all. For say reving your 14b car w/ stock intake would just be stupid. Hell reving that thing past 7k your wasting your time, your well out of its powerband past 6500rpm.

i agree with you about the stock intake and the 14b, but i was planning on something massive, capable of hold power long past 7k. however, with gas pricse going up and me buying a house and going back to school full-time... it looks like the only tuning i'll be doing for a long time will be with pc's :sigh:

Friggn sweet setup! (Too bad the manifold is wrapped already) Car looks a lot better with the front bumper on too:)
