is it a red car? 3.5" slant cut big ass truck tips out the back?
...saw that one in moorhead here last week...The 1998 Thunderbird...
For the first time in it's history, SVT had plans to put their badge on the side of a brand new badass thunderbird. The slated 1998 SVT Thunderbird took many of it's styling cues from the previous 4 years, keeping with the general body style but moving to an updated front facia and 95 styld side moldings. What set this thunderbird apart from the rest, was under the new 2.5" Cobra R styld cowl hood. Breathing life through a 5 speed manual transmission (the first time a V8 tbird would have seen a manul transmission in many years) was a quad cammer topped with a twin screw Eaton blower, pushing enough power to sneak up behind the unsuspectiong bow-ties and tear the heardbeat from between their fender wells. Unfortunately Ford Motor Company had different plans for the Thunderbird, and after the 'bird's 42 year history, the plug was pulled and and along with the 1998 base cars, the SVT Thunderbird never saw production. 5 "concept" cars were rumored to have been produced, 4 of which were crushed. That leaves one, a mythical creature like the origins of the thunderbird name, somewhere out there waiting for it's next unsuspecting prey.(just wrote that up, so I dun care if there are speeling erorrs :p)

I'm trying to remember what was "said" to have happened with the car. Have to look it up again...
after looking it up....
article I"m seeing here... 4 were produced, 3 were crushed and the last one was supposedly going to be crushed after touring with the Hot Rod Power Tour... -
I know a guy in Fargo that has a t-bird, 86 black with super coupe rims prolly see it in the Menards parking lot when he is working.

Wrong!

86 Tbird had a wheel bolt pattern of 4x4.5. Same as many ford vehicles of the "Fox Body" generation. (Mustangs, LTD, Tbird/Cougar/MarkVII)
Supercoupes were only available from 89-95, which were on the IRS equipped MN12 chassis. The only bolt pattern on those cars was 5x4.25....
so in short, superocupe wheels will not fit on an 86 tbird

Maroon or Red? the one I"m talking about is bright ass red, IIRC the only Factory red color avaialbe on the 96-97 birds.

Yeah, I've spent a LOT of time around these cars...
oh yeah, that 15.5... Must have been good cool weather, otherwise there is something done to it. I could see 15.7s........ fairly common with the 96-97 (mine was a freak when it went 15.8 stock).......
anything else?
