What are some good shops around town that do good quality work at decent prices on suspension work? I want lowering springs and new front struts installed on the stang (self-install isnt an option since my dad refuses to help). Tires Plus quoted me $144 for labor so any estimates as to labor cost around town? I can supply the struts and springs obviously.

Shit, I'll do it in your driveway for $75. I've done struts/springs a few times now. 😄 PM if interested

                    my sig says poop 😛

And the car in my av. is a v6 mustang that has a sexy exterior (IMO) that i'm looking to build up to. Performance-wise I obviously want to be in a completely different league than a v6 stang.

Right now im leaning more towards work that has a warranty on it of some sort so if the installers screw something up they get to pay for the damage/whatever. Thats the main thing holding me and my dad back from just doing it ourselves.

Its easy to do springs and struts, so I wouldn't pay a shop anything more than 100 bucks to do the job. Let me know if you want me to do it, or whatever.

couldnt i just do this then, and have no need for spring compressors? or would i still need a spring compresser?

Yup, and I can even show you a trick where you shouldn't need an alignment done after replacing the struts.
