So, didn't he look both ways or something. What if you don't have crosswalks where you live? Does that mean that legally you cant leave your block on foot? I think the original point that was to be made is that it's a pretty petty ticket seen as how it's something that is rarely if ever enforced, except by those who have to much free time,need a quota, or get an authority complex as soon as they put on there badge.

why can't cops look after the real crimes like drugs and domestic violence instead of busting people who spend their money on something for constructive like a car, or people who just want to get where they are going and not wait 10 minutes at a fucking crosswalk.....i'll tell you why, cause most of the time cops are too fucking lazy.....it requires too much brain work to solve a crime, so they see a kid with a loud exhaust, or someone crossing the street where there is no crosswalk and think to themselves "i can write a ticket for that"

How is stopping people from getting themselves hit by a car not stoping real crime? They could have just prevented a death.

I get so sick of hearing people who say that cops should be out looking for real crimes. How do you think they find the "real" crimes? A traffic stop where they find weed, or a jay-walking ticket where they pick up a wanted street dealer. I wouldn't rip on the cops if I were you, there are some police that read this board, and you are not giving yourself, nor the people you represent a good name.

I have read your posts in this forum which is why i wrote that in the first place. You keep saying "you" and "they" in your replies. who are you refering to when you say those words? the import crowd? that is what it sounds like to me. in the post above how somone is not giving himself or the people he represents a good name. When you say that you do mean import crowd right? again, you fail to say "we" or "us." he not only represents the import crowd, unfortunatly, but he represents you as well being a member of this site. so why not "you are not giving yourself, nor US a good name." you have to remember that the import crowd is only a portion of the people who make up a larger group call car enthusiasts. so its not just the import guys problem. it hurts you too.

I agree with what MisterCMK said to 97Cav. Out of all regular posters on FargoStreet.com, 97Cav is the main person that comes to mind for people who have a bad reputation of being a dangerous driver. If we can't police ourselves, then all we have to rely on is the Fargo PD and ND State Patrol.
